Marwan Ahmad is the founder and president of the Arab American Business Council since 2014. He is the President of Arabesque Media a Virginia based marketing and event planning and management company. He has been in the marketing event planning and publishing business since 1994.
He served on a media training mission to Italy with the State Department touring four cities to speak, educate and train local ethnic media. Mr. Ahmad specializes in general marketing consulting businesses in the US as well as companies that do business in the Middle East.
He is also the Co-founder of Arabfest in Virginia, Co-founder of Little Arabia in Anaheim California and publisher of the Arab American Voice and US Qatar Network.
Mr. Ahmad has a degree in Computer Information Systems and additional education in marketing, TV producing and non-profit management.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Aida is the youngest of eight children. Her passion for cooking blossomed from a young age as she helped her mother in the kitchen. She is now living in Northern Virginia where she and her husband raised their three children. In 2012, she launched Cooking and Beyond

Aida shares EWI’s vision for using the arts as a unifying language of multicultural understanding, and Aida’s art is cooking. She is an active volunteer with the Muslim Women’s Association, Baltimore Luxor Alexandria Sister City Committee and the Egyptian American Cultural Association, and is involved in many fundraising events.

Ilham El Adlani is a Real Estate professional licensed in DC & VA, currently affiliated with Long & Foster of McLean, the number one office in the NOVA/WV region, and Top Producer and Gold team member of both her office and The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. Born in Morocco, but living in Northern Virginia since 1990 gives her a great knowledge of the DMV area. She is also a certified relocation specialist who's fluent in both Arabic and French in addition to English . She's a wife, a mother to two kids in college and an avid runner who loves the outdoors.
